This article is used to help team members navigate connecting to Airplane wireless networks

Intended Audience

  • Traveling Team Members who need to potentially use data while flying on a plane

Notes & Considerations

  • When traveling on a plane
  • Admin access will need to be granted BEFORE travel

How to adjust your hardware's DNS settings for travel

For macOS/Apple hardware:

  1. Open System Settings
  2. Click on Network
  3. Click on Details on Connected Network
  4. DNS on left sidebar
  5. Click on 8.8.8.8 and click the minus (-) sign
  6. Click on 8.8.4.4 and click the minus (-) sign
  7. Insert your Computer’s username & password
