Conga Sign Process

Purpose

  • Create updated document for Conga Sign’s usage in Salesforce for revenue teams

    Notes

  • Quotes should be in Approved status before creating Conga Sign transactions
  • Quote Documents should be saved in Salesforce for ease of reference and updates through signature process
    • Please do NOT upload templates through signature process
  • Other E-Signature tools are to be decommissioned, unless prior approval has been granted by manager

    Process Steps

Single Signature Process

  1. Starting from an Opportunity record, select Send with Conga Sign from down arrow in highlights panel to load the Conga Sign transaction page
  2. From Add Documents section, you can either search by Filename or select your file showing in the list below the Upload Documents interactive points and make sure your document is checked
  3. Click on Search for Name or Account field to find your contact
    1. Create New Recipient can be used to create a new contact in Salesforce
  4. Under Advanced Options you have modifiers to make changes for the email, reminders, and set expiration date & reminders
  5. Select Preview and Tag button to enter the fields placement screen
  6. Apply the appropriate fields to signature block
    1. Name
    2. Title
    3. Signature
    4. Custom field named: Date of Expected PO (can be required or not)

DPO (double signature) Process - *Should only be used with 2025 Conga Signature Template

Prerequisites before starting process

  • Your manager is aware of the need for a DPO
  • Fields that have been filled in on Opportunity:
    • Reason for PO Delay
    • Expected Date of Purchased Order
  1. Starting from an Opportunity record, select Send with Conga Sign from down arrow in highlights panel to load the Conga Sign transaction page
  2. From Add Documents section, you can either search by Filename or select your file showing in the list below the Upload Documents interactive points and make sure your document is checked
  3. Click on Search for Name or Account field to find your contact
  4. Add Justin Berkenstock’s contact as your first contact, then select your customer’s contact information
    1. Create New Recipient can be used to create a new contact in Salesforce
  5. Toggle Signing Order to allow for Double Signature process to complete, and make sure that Justin’s contact information is first
  6. Under Advanced Options you have modifiers to make changes for the email, reminders, and set expiration date & reminders
  7. Select Preview and Tag button to enter the fields placement screen
  8. With the correct PDF chosen, you will see all fields are already populated on PDF, validate, and choose to send
